Open Star Fighter is a premium action PC game from an indie developer who goes by "me". It's a space sim adventure inspired by classics like Starlancer or Freespace 2. It focuses on fast-paced action wherein players will engage in thrilling dogfights against enemy fighters in retro styling featuring distinct low-poly graphics.

Open Start Fighter harkens back to the classic space sim games that focus on providing fast-paced action. Embark on various missions across the galaxy, facing all kinds of challenges as you attempt to complete your objectives against all odds. Face overwhelming enemy forces, engage in thrilling shootouts, and survive to fight another day. 

The experience is complemented by tight and responsive controls, as well as the option to switch between third-person or first-person cockpit perspectives. One thing to note is that the game is still in active development, so it's not complete yet. Its code is also available open-source, which is a nice bonus for developers who want to tinker or use it as a base for their own creations. 

Back to basics 

Open Star Fighter is a nod to classic space sims that try to capture the core experience and gameplay, and it does so quite impressively. The graphics are charming, the controls are tight, and the combat is fast-paced and satisfying.
